St. Edward-Epiphany School second grade is heading a school-wide collection of nonperishable items for the St. Edward food pantry during Lent. The St. Edward food pantry serves not only our own church community, but also Sacred Heart Center and Bainbridge Community Ministry, and they are very much in need of donations this time of year. We are asking for everyone to bring in two items each Tuesday (or just one if that’s easier!). Students will walk their items over and place them outside of the food pantry each week as we attend Mass. We are requesting the following items:
Week 1/February 21: SOUP and CRACKERS
Week 2/February 28: RICE and DRY BEANS
Week 3/March 7: CEREAL and BOXED MILK
Week 4/March 14: COOKING OIL and TORTILLAS
Week 5/March 21: PEANUT BUTTER and JELLY
Week 6/March 28: TOOTHBRUSHES and TOOTHPASTE
Holy Week/April 4: SALTY SNACKS and SNACK CAKES
