SEES Catholic Schools Week 2023 Agenda
Date Posted: Wednesday, 25th January 2023

Saints Hall of Fame
Please join us at 9am for the Annual Saints Hall of Fame, presented by our 4th grade students.

Students and their families are invited to attend any Mass at the Parish of their choice. Students are encouraged to wear their school uniforms.

Whiteout Tag Day for a heavenly start to a fun week! Students may wear white head to toe (or even just a white tee will do!) Please note that all standard Tag Day rules apply.

Throughout the week, students will be making thank-you cards for healthcare workers. We ask that each family sends in a grade-specific donation to help us put together care packages to deliver to healthcare workers in our community. Individually wrapped snacks for care packages:

JK – granola bars
K – packages of nuts
1st – trail mix
2nd – salty bagged snacks
3rd – sweet bagged snacks
4th – candy
5th – dried fruit
6th – cookies
7th – mints
8th – gum

It’s Wacky Sock Day! Wear your craziest socks with your uniform. All families are invited to join us for 9:00 Mass.

Spirit Wear Tag Day: Wear your school sport jerseys or school colors to cheer on the students or teachers in the Faculty vs. 8th Grade Volleyball game at 1:30pm in the Gym. Eighth grade parents are welcome to attend.

Donuts with Epiphany
On Wednesday Morning, Church of the Epiphany will be delivering Krispy Kreme Donuts for each of our students! For our students with food allergies we ask that each parent send a fun snack alternative.

Pair up with a friend (or 2 or 3) and dress alike for the day! All grades will participate in different relay races in the afternoon!

Thank You Thursday Luncheon for our Faculty & Staff
Teachers & Staff will enjoy lunch provided by our HSA & Parent Volunteers.

State of the School Address
Mr. Hamner will send out a link to a pre-recorded State of the School Address for families to watch at their convenience.

Each homeroom will come up with their own theme and will decorate their classroom and door accordingly. Students can dress according to their classroom theme (following Tag Day guidelines). A panel of judges will visit each classroom and select a winner.

The Annual Micheal Medlin SEES Student Talent Show
Join us in the gym at 1pm for awesome performances by students in 2nd-8th grades! Parents & guests are welcome to attend.

“An Evening with Gatsby” – 30th Annual Gala & Auction

After a 3-year hiatus, SEES is excited to welcome back our annual Gala & Auction. “An Evening With Gatsby” will take place at The Jefferson Hotel in Richmond, Virginia. This event is sold out — all guests must be ticketed.
