FRIDAY, JANUARY 27

Saints Hall of Fame
Please join us at 9am for the Annual Saints Hall of Fame, presented by our 4th grade students.

SUNDAY, JANUARY 29 – MASS WITH YOUR FAMILY

Students and their families are invited to attend any Mass at the Parish of their choice. Students are encouraged to wear their school uniforms.

MONDAY, JANUARY 30 – HEAVENLY MONDAY

Whiteout Tag Day for a heavenly start to a fun week! Students may wear white head to toe (or even just a white tee will do!) Please note that all standard Tag Day rules apply.

Throughout the week, students will be making thank-you cards for healthcare workers. We ask that each family sends in a grade-specific donation to help us put together care packages to deliver to healthcare workers in our community. Individually wrapped snacks for care packages:

JK – granola bars
K – packages of nuts
1st – trail mix
2nd – salty bagged snacks
3rd – sweet bagged snacks
4th – candy
5th – dried fruit
6th – cookies
7th – mints
8th – gum

TUESDAY, JANUARY 31 – WACKY SOCK DAY

It’s Wacky Sock Day! Wear your craziest socks with your uniform. All families are invited to join us for 9:00 Mass.

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 1 – SEES SPIRIT DAY

Spirit Wear Tag Day: Wear your school sport jerseys or school colors to cheer on the students or teachers in the Faculty vs. 8th Grade Volleyball game at 1:30pm in the Gym. Eighth grade parents are welcome to attend.

Donuts with Epiphany
On Wednesday Morning, Church of the Epiphany will be delivering Krispy Kreme Donuts for each of our students! For our students with food allergies we ask that each parent send a fun snack alternative.

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 2 – TWIN DAY & RELAYS

Pair up with a friend (or 2 or 3) and dress alike for the day! All grades will participate in different relay races in the afternoon!

Thank You Thursday Luncheon for our Faculty & Staff
Teachers & Staff will enjoy lunch provided by our HSA & Parent Volunteers.

State of the School Address
Mr. Hamner will send out a link to a pre-recorded State of the School Address for families to watch at their convenience.

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 3 – CLASS SPIRIT DAY

Each homeroom will come up with their own theme and will decorate their classroom and door accordingly. Students can dress according to their classroom theme (following Tag Day guidelines). A panel of judges will visit each classroom and select a winner.

Join us in the gym at 1pm for awesome performances by students in 2nd-8th grades! Parents & guests are welcome to attend.

“An Evening with Gatsby” – 30th Annual Gala & Auction

After a 3-year hiatus, SEES is excited to welcome back our annual Gala & Auction. “An Evening With Gatsby” will take place at The Jefferson Hotel in Richmond, Virginia. This event is sold out — all guests must be ticketed.

Girls’ Soccer Grades 5th-8th

Girls’ Soccer games will be on Wednesdays and Fridays at SEES. Games will start mid- to late March. Playoffs will be in early May.

Boys Volleyball Grades 5th-8th

Boys Volleyball will be at Saint Bridget gym on Saturdays starting March 11 and running for 5 to 6 weeks. This will be an introduction to volleyball. Players will arrive at MPH in one of the two-time slots: Noon to 1:30pm or 1:30pm to 3pm. Players will have a 30-minute training session with a trainer and then play the best of 3 sets. All games will be against area private and Catholic schools on Saturdays.

Boys Volleyball 5th-8th

Co-Ed Flag Football Grades 1st-2nd and 3rd-4th

Teams will be made up of both boys and girls from the 1st/2nd and 3rd/4th grades. This is a 6 on 6 non-contact league. This league is all about fun and sportsmanship. If you are interested, please fill out the permission form via the link below. Coaches are needed. There is a section on the sign-up form if you are interested. Practice days and times will be determined by the coaches’ schedules. Games will be played on Saturdays starting March 11. Regular-season games will be played against other Catholic Schools at Westhampton Field. The playoffs/championship game will be held in mid-May. 1st/2nd graders will play from 10am to Noon or 1pm depending on the total number of teams. 3rd/4th graders will play from Noon to 3pm again depending on the total number of teams.

Co-Ed Soccer Grades JK-K, 1st-2nd, and 3rd-4th

SEES will offer Co-Ed Youth Soccer for our students in grades JK through 4th this spring. There will be three divisions of play, JK/K, 1/2 grades and 3/4 grades co-ed teams. We will be playing 7 vs. 7 soccer with middle/high schools students officiating. All games will be played on Monday nights here at St. Edward-Epiphany Catholic School starting March 6. We will not be playing a game on March 6. The first session will only be a practice. Games will start March 13. You will be playing at either 5pm or 6pm. If your child is interested in playing and/or you are interested in coaching, please register at the link provided below. It is important to register in a timely manner so that we can order uniforms and submit the number of teams participating. Game Schedule: 3/13/23, 3/20/23, 4/3/23, 4/17/23, 4/24/23 and 5/1/23.
