Partners in Education (PIE) is a peer-to-peer after school tutoring program started back in 2017 by a former SEES student. Mrs. Gordon and Mrs. Franklin, PIE teacher sponsors, are looking for 6th, 7th or 8th graders who are willing to tutor our teacher-chosen 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th graders each Tuesday afternoon from 3-4pm. We will hold our first session from September 27 through November 15. If they can’t participate in this session, we will have sign ups again for Session 2 and Session 3! Any 6th-8th grader interested should see Mrs. Gordon in Room 109 for a permission form (due by Wednesday, September 14).

School Picture Day is Wednesday, September 21. Students will be photographed by the Strawbridge Photography staff in the Cafeteria starting at 8:30am. Photo proofs along with a link to purchase photos will be provided to all of our parents after Picture Day (see sample digital version of order envelope). If a student is absent or is not happy with their photo, a make-up date has been scheduled for Wednesday, October 26.

Dress code. As a reminder, the dress code for grades JK – 7 on Picture Day is school uniform only – no Tag Day clothes. Eighth graders may wear their Sunday best. Students who have PE class on Picture Day should wear their regular school uniform to school instead of the PE uniform.
