Thanksgiving Break Schedule

School will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (11/22-11/24) of next week and will reopen on Monday, November 27. Happy Thanksgiving to all our families!

SEES Masterpiece Performing Arts Presents The Internet is Distract — OH LOOK A KITTEN!

This weekend, the SEES Masterpiece Performing Arts theatre group will present The Internet is Distract — OH LOOK A KITTEN!, a short comedy by Ian McWethy.

We hope that you can join us for one of our performances in Father Herbert Hall on November 17 at 7pm or November 18 at 2pm or 7pm.Tickets will be sold at the door for $3 General Admission and $2 for Students. Download flyer

“Stuff the Truck” Holiday Helper Middle School Outreach

SEES Middle School students are collecting donations of new items for their annual Holiday Helper Outreach project. Holiday Helper Association is a non-profit organization that helps ensure military children have a wonderful Christmas!

We are accepting donations of NEW hats and gloves through November 21. We will also be collecting new toys in homeroom November 27 through November 30. You can also donate your toy during morning drop-off on December 1 and it will go directly into our truck! Download flyer

Santa Claus is coming to SEES! Please join us for Country Style Donuts, fruit, Starbucks coffee, hot tea, hot chocolate and orange juice. Each admission includes 1 donut, fruit and a beverage of your choice. Additional donuts are $1.00 each.

Secret Santa Shop and Holiday Market Bazaar

Who made your “nice list” this year? With the help of our middle school elves, students in Pre-K through 5th grade can shop for their friends and family! The Shop will be open on December 9 from 9am until 11am. All gifts are priced at $5 or less. Cash only, please!

Calling all parents! Waiting around while your child shops? Please visit the Holiday Market Bazaar in the SEES Middle School Hallway! You will find an eclectic mix of vendors offering gift options for the entire family! Pop up shops will be open from 9am until 11am. A portion of the proceeds come back to SEES! (Most vendors accept cash, credit cards or checks.)

Advent Reflection Service

The meaningful tradition of the Advent Reflection Service will take place on December 5 at 7pm in St. Edward Church. This concert is a special night where Preschool through Fifth Grade and the SEES Choir offer songs and music to prepare us for the true meaning of the Advent and Christmas season. Select middle school students will be proclaiming the good news through readings and reenactment of the Christmas story. SEES Book Bowl

We are extremely excited to announce the SEES Book Bowl! The book bowl competition will take place after Spring Break. It is not too late to sign up! Details and book lists for each group are listed below. Your child can turn in the permission slip to his/her homeroom teacher. Sassy Bee Fundraiser

Sassy Bee will host a Sip and Shop for SEES on Tuesday, December 12 from 4pm until 7pm. Families can come and purchases gifts, enjoy snacks and warm beverages. 10% of all proceeds will come directly back to the school. Watch for more information in next week’s Red and White folder!

St. Edward Parish Middle School Youth Service Opportunities
