Overdue Library Books

The library staff works very hard to bring awareness to students when library books are overdue. However, there are some instances where library books become 30 or more days past due. In those few instances, the office will be sending parents an invoice through FACTS for the value of replacing the book. If upon receipt of an invoice you find the book, the invoice will be canceled when the book has been returned to the library.

Invoices for lost books will need to be paid within 15 days of receipt. Any outstanding invoices will result in the withholding of report cards.

Altar Server Training May 14

Hello 3rd-8th grade families! Is your son or daughter looking for a fun way to serve their church and school community? If so, we would love to have them join our altar serving team!

Andrew McCarthy (youth minister at St. Edward) will be holding a training for new altar servers on Tuesday, May 14 at 8am. If your student is interested in becoming an altar server, please sign them up for this training by filling out this Google form. A list of students attending this training will be shared with homeroom teachers so students will not be marked tardy or absent, and they will return to class as soon as the training is over (before classes head to Mass).

Please let Rachel Franklin ([email protected]) or Andrew ([email protected]) know if you have any questions.

The 2024 SEES Olympic Games are just around the corner! This year, we are offering an optional t-shirt for ALL students to wear during the two days of competition (May 29-30, 2024). Each homeroom teacher for grades JK through 4th grade is assigned to a “cheering section” – students in those homerooms typically wear their team colors to show their support during team competition days. Purchasing this tee is completely optional and not required! Please note that this optional tee is for students in grades JK-4th grade – all Olympians competing in the games (grades 5-8) will have a tee purchased for them by the School. Parents and volunteers are also welcome to purchase a tee to show their support!

The ordering link closes on Sunday, 5/5/24, at 11 pm: https://forms.diamondmindinc.com/sees/olympics2024
