Theology Classes

Our daily theology classes enable us to discuss and share all that is central to our Catholic Faith. Beginning with the basics, Pre-K students learn the sign of the cross and The Lord’s Prayer.  By 7th grade, students read and study the Papal Encyclicals. SEES uses Religion textbooks which meet the criteria set by Conference of Catholic Bishops.

Liturgies

Teachers, students, families and the church community celebrate weekly mass together on Tuesday mornings. This is a wonderful time for our school to come together as a community of faith.  Our students not only celebrate school liturgies on a weekly basis, they also plan these liturgies and lead the congregation at these services.

In addition, the student body attends Mass together on holy days, as well as other special days of the school year with the Church community.  The opening school year liturgy in September is planned by Middle School students, and every grade has an opportunity to plan and participate in a liturgy at some point during the school year.
