Schedule for Holy Week and Easter Break

Thursday, March 28 is a NOON DISMISSAL day. Extended Care will CLOSE AT 3PM. Bus drop-off times will be adjusted to accommodate the early release. There will be no lunch period. Students going to Extended Care should pack a lunch and drink.

School will be CLOSED Friday, March 29 through Friday April 5 for Easter Break.


Lost & Found Alert!

Please ask your child(ren) to check the school Lost & Found collection, located downstairs under the stairwell, for anything that may belong to them. Unclaimed items will be donated on March 28, 2024.


April Lunch Ordering Period Closes on Monday

The April school lunch ordering period will close this coming Monday, March 25. Orders may be placed through the SEES App or FACTS SIS.


March 28 Kaleidoscope Class Rescheduled to April 11

As a reminder, we have a Kaleidoscope schedule change for Thursday 3/28 due to a Noon Dismissal and the start of Spring Break. The Thursday class that was originally scheduled for 3/28 will be held on Thursday 4/11.


2024-2025 HSA Board Nominations

The HSA Board Nomination Form is NOW open! As a SEES parent, your participation in this process is critical to the success of our HSA – please take a moment to nominate yourself or someone else who you feel would be an exceptional officer or chair for the Board and/or an HSA Event! The Home and School Association (“HSA”) and its Board both play a critical role in the overall success of St. Edward-Epiphany Catholic School. Each year, SEES Administration, in cooperation with the current HSA Board, asks current parents to participate in the process of nominating and subsequently electing HSA Officers and/or Board members for the following school year.

Please take a moment to review the Nomination Form, HSA Board positions, and the responsibilities that accompany each position that will be accepting nominations for the 2024-2025 School Year. If you would like to nominate yourself or another SEES parent that you feel would be a successful candidate for an open board position, please do so on the Nomination Form linked above.

Lenten Outreach

The 2nd grade school-wide collection of nonperishable items for the St. Edward food pantry ends next week. Students will walk their items over and place them outside of the food pantry as we attend Mass. At this time, we are requesting the following items:

Extended Care Statements Available Through FACTS Tuition Management

Statements of 2023 Extended Care payments for tax filing are available through the FACTS Tuition Management site. Please refer to instructions for printing the payment summary.


Altar Server Training

4th-8th grade students who have received their First Communion: Are you interested in learning how to be an altar server at Mass? There will be a training for new altar servers coming up in the next few weeks. If you are interested, please fill out this Google form. Father Daughter Dance!

Saturday, April 13
6-8pm

Get ready to be in your Daddy Daughter Era with a night of Taylor Swift fun! The Father Daughter Dance will be held on April 13 from 6pm to 8pm. Dance the night away with some of your favorite Swiftie beats and enjoy light refreshments and plenty of photo ops! Tickets are $22 for BOTH the Dad AND his daughter/daughters. Please be sure to add how many girls there are in your family when you buy your tickets! Become a sponsor and receive some T. Swift swag! We hope you can make it!

SEES Cheerleading Fall Registration & Schedule

FALL CHEER 1st-3rd & 4th and Up
We will have two cheerleading squads next Fall. Please see the schedule below for both. Both squads will spend practice time working on a routine for The County Battle cheer competition in Early November (usually the first Sunday of Nov). Competition is usually at James River High School. As we do not cheer for a SEES sport, there are no weekend commitments other than competition day.

Our 1st-3rd grade squad will perform as an exhibition team for County Battle and our 4th and up squad will compete against other elementary/middle schools in our area at the competition. Please note, our older squad will practice twice a week and attendance is required for both days.

We will hold uniform fittings for any new cheerleaders before the end of school (date TBD). If you are returning and need a new uniform piece, we will take care of that outside the registration, do not pay for a full uniform when you register.

Registration will close March 24th.

SEES Yellowstone Roast & Round-Up

Saddle up, folks! It’s time to round up the ranch hands and join your fellow SEES parents on for a Rip-Roaring Night at the SEES Yellowstone Roast & Round-Up, where we’ll be raising the barn in celebration of our beloved school!

This event will take place on Friday, April 26, 2024 from 6pm until 10pm at The Outlook at Saddle Ridge, located at 17901 River Road, Chesterfield, VA.

SEES Inaugural Cornhole Tournament

SEES HSA is excited to announce our Inaugural Cornhole Tournament! This event will take place on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at The Church of the Epiphany (11000 Smoketree Drive, Richmond VA) from 11am until 3pm! In addition to the multi-round Cornhole Tournament (with cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and a randomly-drawn 3rd place team), we will have Fun for all ages with Food Trucks, a family-friendly dance party and a “Kids Zone” with games and inflatables for children 14 and under!

SEES Discovery Camp Registration

What will you discover this summer? Registration is open for SEES Discovery Camp 2024 through May 3, 2024! Join us for two weeks of learning, adventure and excitement . . . and did I mention awesome field trips? Space is limited so register today!!

Please note: We will not be offering before or aftercare this summer. Extra field trips may be added as we get closer to summer. Camp will run from 9:00am until 3:00pm Monday – Friday.
