Safety Patrols and Escorts

6th grade students escort pre-K and kindergarten students from the morning carpool line into the school.  The 6th grade safety patrols monitor the hallways and stairways during the busy morning and dismissal times.

Bus buddies

7th & 8th grade students are assigned younger students as bus buddies.  The older students meet their bus buddies in their classrooms at the end of the day to make sure they board the right bus on time.  

Teacher's helpers

5th & 6th grade students can volunteer to help teachers during recess time with small classroom jobs.

Liturgy buddies

6th - 8th grade students escort Pre-K and Kindergarten students to St. Edward Church to attend liturgy. The older students sit with the younger students to set good examples of proper church behavior and to help them follow the order of the Mass.

Parish helpers

St. Edward Church staff will sometimes enlist the help of the 8th grade students in setting up assemblies in the community center and other tasks.
