Retreats

Retreats give the students a chance to slow down and go on a short spiritual journey.  Taking time from classwork and going to a different location helps students clear their minds and open their hearts.

Dynamic speakers engage the students in ways that capture their attention and encourage them to look inward.  SEES has been fortunate to have parish priests, deacons, and seminarians lead the retreats as well as others like Jesse Manibusan and a team from NET ministries. 

Off-site retreats for 7th graders are held at St. Gabriel's Church and focus on friendship and community building.  The 8th graders retreat at St. Gabriel's focuses on making transitions.

A school wide retreat is held for all of the classes on Holy Thursday and focuses on the Triduum.
