Liturgies

Our students not only participate in liturgies on a regular basis, they also plan these liturgies and lead the congregation at these services.

The student body attends Mass together on holy days, as well as other special days of the school year.  The fourth grade plans the opening school year liturgy in September.  Later in the school year other grades have that opportunity. The students are the readers, altar servers, and ushers.  The school choir provides the musical leadership at the liturgies.

The Pre-K and kindergarten classes have 6th and 8th graders act as liturgy buddies.  The older students sit with the younger students at Mass to help them follow along and practice good church behavior.

Our 7th graders are known as Liturgy Leaders to the lower grades. The older students visit the younger grades to help the students prepare for the upcoming liturgies.
