On March 19, 2011 St. Edward-Epiphany families and friends celebrated at “A Night in Tuscany” fundraising auction in the “Italian countryside” of the School!
Delicious Italian food from Mediterraneo and a Vino Market wine tasting sponsored by Automatic Leasing Service, Inc., coincided with an exciting silent and live auction. Highlights from hundreds of generous donations included: a week-long Tuscan Villa vacation; children’s recreational and enrichment summer camps; entertainment packages; and wonderfully creative class art with Italian-themed outdoor rain barrels, garden benches and nesting tables.
This year’s Auction, sponsored by the Home and School Association, was supported by many volunteers and raised over $50,000, part of which will help fund the new “Field of Dreams” athletic complex. This fundraising total also included monies raised in the School’s first-ever online pre-auction that offered an array of excursions and exclusive items. Thanks to all for a wonderful evening of fundraising and fellowship!
